The number of air changes per hour is a personal preference however we recommend a minimum of 4 changes per hour to cool your home.

I have been told that I need 30 air changes per hour to cool my home, why do you recommend less?

The Aussie Green WHF1858  whole house fan is not designed to create a gale force wind through your home. Our whole house fan is designed to draw cooler air into your home at a steady rate making it quieter, more energy efficient and it requires less roof space venting than the higher volume whole house fans.

Air changes  at very high flow rates  can bring unnecessary items into your home such as large leaves, pollen and large amount of dust…yuck!
